1. enable me to create an online form 2. allow users of the form to upload data and up to 5 photos 3. automatically send form data and photos to 2 separate email addresses based on a selection (area) made within the form 4. Send a copy of the form data and photos back to the user
For example, if the city of Jacksonville, NC is chosen from a drop-down field, one Riverkeeper and one enforcement agency will need to receive the form data and photos. If Asheville is selected, then different email addresses will apply. The email addresses are static for each area. Is this possible?
At this time, the FormAssembly system does not allow point 3, conditional choice of notification recipients. However I might suggest creating separate forms for each choice of area.
Using FA you can create a base form, then make as many copies as you like of that base form, customizing each to fit the needs of the specific area and also allowing you to control the notification email addresses.
How many emails can one include in the notification field? I would need 50 or 60 clients, each with his own email to receive notifications once a form is submitted. Is this possible, or is there a limit to the number of emails one can include in notifications?
We have received similar requests regarding the ability to route email notifications based on data entered in the form. We are still working out the details, but it's something we'd like to add to the application.
Regarding the notification field, you're limited to 255 characters, so that won't work for more than a handful addresses. You may try to check with your e-mail service provider / administrator and see if they can let you create a distribution list (or alias). Then it's just a matter of addressing the notification to the list's email.
