    I could really use a dedicated "date" field, using a row of popups for Year/Month/Date, instead of making users enter dates into a text field.

    There are some good jscalendars available. It should'nt be too tough to incorporate those. Don't ask me how, haven't been around FA too long. Tough learning new tricks as an old dog;-)
